Fiddlehead the Dragon
Fiddlehead the dragon
Was too large to fit in a phone booth,
And while drinking a lime smoothie,
He unluckily broke a tooth.
He screamed so loud he changed the wind,
His crazy eyes confused,
Like an octopus lizard he had ebbed and flowed
On that green bean cure he used.
Now he couldn't see more, so he leapt from the floor
With a insatiable desire to feed.
But nothing is good when it's largely understood
that what makes us fail is greed.
So, up high in the sky he whirled in strain,
Like an avocado river,
Then a swirling light, shone just right,
To highlight what he must deliver.
This dragon was keen, like Soylent Green,
Shining blissfully in his youth,
So he came back down to dance around
As he had soon discovered a truth.
It doesn't matter if the things we do,
Don't ever seem to succeed.
A toothless smile, and some funky guile
Is all anyone will ever need.
